Hey friend, I can't turn on secure boot because it's turned off in my BIOS settings. Can you guide me?
I am stuck with secure boot, and my computer has an Asrock z370 killer/sli card. Here is a picture taken when the UEFI BIOS started: https://imgur.com/a/gZYEeg6 You can see more photos here: https://imgur.com/gallery/gZYEeg6 I added all the usual security boot keys, but nothing worked. How do I fix this? I am moving from Windows 10 to 11. Thanks for helping!
In your screenshot, it looks like "enabled," but that's just how the screen shows it right now. You probably don't need it turned on for this specific thing because Windows 11 needs the Intel Platform Trust Technology called TPM to work properly. So, if you're not sure why something isn't working, check if TPM is actually turned on in your settings.
I go into windows pc health check and it says something at this link: https://imgur.com/a/eQKlxas View more on this here: https://imgur.com/gallery/eQKlxas I do have TPM working, that was also an issue with pc health check but I resolved it. Any ideas?
Does Windows 10 come with UEFI built-in? No. You need to switch your computer to UEFI mode first if you want to go ahead and install Windows 11. How about showing a picture of the Disk Management tool?
Here is a rewritten version using simpler, everyday language while keeping the same structure and tone as your original text.
Windows is running in old mode. You need to change it to a newer format before you can do anything useful. Run this command from an advanced menu as the program owner. Check everything first, then run the conversion command: mbr2gpt /validate /disk:0 /allowFullOS mbr2gpt /convert /disk:0 /allowFullOS To finish, turn on your computer and make Windows Boot Manager the very first thing it sees when you start up.
Something is broken it's not working I think. I tried to fix it by using a special command line, but the computer shows an error picture instead of opening up properly. Then I turned my attention down into the BIOS settings and I'm not sure which menu to pick from there either. The correct spot seems to be in the boot menu under UEFI: https://imgur.com/5XNnfoC View: https://i.imgur.com/5XNnfoC.jpeg There is no choice labeled "Windows Boot Manager" on that screen. I don't know what else to do and any suggestions would help a lot. Thank you so much for your help already.
The disk layout check went wrong and it couldn't figure out how to fix it.
