I checked if your motherboard can handle AM3+. It’s a bit outdated, but it should work with newer CPUs if you upgrade the BIOS. Your Athlon II X2 240 is compatible, and the board supports higher speeds. Just confirm the BIOS version matches the CPU requirements.

Your board isn't compatible with am3+ CPUs. You probably don't need them since they're outdated and not up to today's standards, let alone the quality of their release.

They're a bit different models, and an FX CPU isn't really worth the money right now.
