As I said in my signature, I own an EVGA GTX 1080 SC card. I have been using ATI/AMD graphics cards for way too long. Before I switched to Nvidia, I actually spent more years on AMD products. It got so bad that I had to look at forums like Rage3D just to see if there were any tricks to fix the driver issues I was having. When they released Catalyst drivers back then, version 5.7 made all Medal of Honor titles stop working completely. A guy on Rage3D figured out that extracting the OpenAl audio driver into the game directory would make those games work again. I called ATI's headquarters in Canada to tell them this. Instead of thanking us, they were clueless about the problem and insisted it was just because people didn't know how to install their drivers correctly. Three months later, even though a whole month passed since I told them that three months ago, ATI finally put out their driver release notes admitting there was a problem with Medal of Honor titles (even though back then I specifically told them about it). A month after all of that, they STILL hadn't released a fix for this issue. This made me realize I needed to switch to Nvidia. The only problems I have had with Nvidia recently are maybe once in a while there is a tiny graphical glitch on some ShadowPlay screenshots that lasts at most one second. But honestly, I've never had any real graphics issues when playing games. A guy named Angel Trinidad used to release modified AMD drivers called Omega drivers. He said their stock drivers were known for having terrible installers and too much unnecessary software bloat. One of the worst driver problems AMD recently faced was with the 5700 XT GPUs. It took them seven months just to finally fix that issue. That kind of "support" is really unacceptable to most serious gamers. Players who insist on buying Intel or Nvidia products are often called elitists. I prefer to think of ourselves as being realistic. As always in life, you get what you pay for. I have been down the budget-friendly road and learned its pitfalls. Now, when it comes to reliability, efficiency, and practicality, those things matter more than saving a few bucks. Life is too short to wait around waiting on a lazy driver team's problems and their smug denial and arrogance.

I have been using Windows 11 (version 21H2 with Build number 22000.856) since last time I upgraded my processor to a Ryzen 7 5700X. Even though I used DDU in safe mode many times and my AMD driver is version 22.8.2, the green screen error keeps happening when I try to play games like Apex Legends or Minecraft.

Hey, did you try putting in another screen just in case it's causing this problem?
