Starting from a few months ago, my computer sometimes crashes when I watch Netflix or switch between apps with Alt+Tab. It was random and didn't happen often until recently because it only happens when switching while watching Netflix. Nothing bad happens if I just play games or open the browser. So I googled some solutions and tried running whoCrashed to see what's wrong with my system, here are the crash logs from that time: On Tue 4/8/2025 1:53:21 AM your computer crashed or a problem was reported Crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\040825-6359-01.dmp (Minidump) Bugcheck code: 0x50 (0xFFFFDC19532E5F00, 0x2, 0xFFFFF8008273B1DB, 0x2) Bugcheck name: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Driver or module that had the problem: amdkmdag.sys amdkmdag+174b1db File path: amdkmdag.sys Description: ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver Product: ATI Radeon Family Company: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Bug check description: This says that your computer tried to use bad memory. This could be caused by a bad driver. Antivirus programs can also cause this error, and a corrupted NTFS drive can cause it too. It might also be caused by faulty hardware (like bad or overheated RAM or video cards) or an overheating part of the system. Analysis: This looks like a software problem because a bug in a driver probably started it. There is a chance that memory was damaged. Memory damage could come from a bad driver, bad RAM, heat, and other reasons. Read this article about memory corruption. Read this article about overheating issues A third-party driver was found to be the main cause of this error. I suggest you check if there are updates for the following driver: amdkmdag.sys (ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.). Google query: amdkmdag Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Any suggestions on how to fix this crash? Is this related to my AMD graphics card driver? Should I downgrade the software? My PC: Ryzen 7 5700x, AsRock A320M-HDV R4.0, MSI RX 6700XT

My PC is made by Ryzen 7 5700x, AsRock A320M-HDV R4.0, and has an MSI RX 6700XT card. When I post this for help with problems, I need to give you all the details about my setup: CPU, cooler, motherboard, RAM, hard drives or SSDs, GPU power supply, case, operating system, monitor, and how old your power supply is besides its brand and model number. Also tell me what version of BIOS is on your motherboard now. Maybe this has something to do with an AMD graphics card driver? You could try using DDU to remove all drivers for Intel, Nvidia, and AMD in Safe Mode, then install the newest driver from AMD's website using a special way that opens up as Administrator (Right click installer > Run as Administrator). See if that solves your problem. You might want to send me your .dmp files so we can look at them together. You have to host those files on a place like Dropbox and then share the link here in this thread. The post was moved from the Components part of the system page to the Systems section because of it.

Have you changed up any BIOS settings, like turning on memory boosting? If that's true, just go back to normal. Also, fix your AMD graphics card back to its starting point.
