My motherboard model: ASUS X470 ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO. I found the link you mentioned on Amazon, but when checking the details, it doesn’t mention Wi-Fi. I saw reviews and unboxings online, yet no one seems to have this board with Wi-Fi built in. I bought a separate wireless adapter, but I’m still facing problems. I wondered if the board itself has Wi-Fi or if it’s just an aftermarket addition. How can I enable it if it wasn’t listed?
I didn't find anything similar, and checking the unboxing videos didn't reveal anyone else getting it.
I acquired it directly from Amazon with shipping and handling, and the product description mentions Wi-Fi.
There exist two models of this board, one featuring and another lacking Wi-Fi. Identify them by examining the I/O Shield. The Wi-Fi model will display antenna connectors protruding just below the BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS buttons, whereas the non-WiFi version will show a black area with the ROG logo. The first and third images from the Amazon listing correspond to the Wi-Fi variant, and the second image matches the non-WiFi model. It seems the seller made an error; these boards should not be sold together, as the differences are noticeable—Wi-Fi is typically pricier and subtly distinct. Return it as received, incorrect item.
