before fiber, i was always slow compared to others.
now that i have fiber, i can surpass people from Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and the UK.
the only ones i get beaten by are norway.

Fiber internet offers numerous advantages. Reduced latency is a significant benefit. Cable providers are not advancing quickly enough to meet the growing demand.

If I had fiber, could I outsmart the bots on cable and actually purchase the GPU I want? lol

i used to have cable in canada during my student days.
in our country, they don't have terrestrial cable; they prefer using air connections, and they think it's cool, even for the internet.
now i have fiber and can outperform uk players online.

If you switch from a wireless connection like satellite to a wired internet, you'll experience improved ping and latency times. This isn't just because of fiber; it's about the overall quality of the connection. I've had similar ping times to game servers using FIOS fiber, which is the same as my cable connection. Moving from wireless to fiber is like changing from a bike with a flat tire to a Ducati.
