Piracy is the winner. Paying $60 for a half-finished game only to find it gone after two days feels like rape. I can only say this if the seeders keep leaving their computers on. Upset with Ubisoft.

Before, their errors were annoying and I usually found them amusing. Now it’s completely upsetting. I’m really angry right now. I’m certain there’s some hidden terms that allow this, but if not, I’d take legal action. This is the worst experience with a content creator I’ve ever had. How does someone mess up like this?

I enjoy the sections in the articles that mention they could lose their devoted supporters... it got me chuckling.

They're obtaining keys through unlawful means. Last year, Sniper Elite 3 keys were stolen, which is why buying them from sources like G2A or low-quality Ebay listings poses a risk. Grey market platforms are never completely reliable. Even if the operators appear trustworthy, their key suppliers aren't always legitimate. Keys can be extremely inexpensive because they're often bought with stolen credit cards or counterfeit copies from retailers or distributors. It's understandable that Ubi is stepping in when they discover stolen keys. The top grey market sites usually have procedures for such situations, which highlights the importance of having those policies in place.

They didn't receive the notice. These aren't just stolen keys—many are likely Russian keys or keys from nations where game prices are low. It feels like the usual Ubisoft justification to me. "Piracy is to blame hurr durr" — Ubisoft 1986-present

I haven’t been buying Ubisoft titles for a while; I lost Assassins Creed Black Flag recently and realized why. Now I own Far Cry 3, so will I lose it next? I’m considering going pirate on Ubisoft games—this is my first time! They don’t deserve my money.
