I just bought a new Ryzen CPU and put it on my MSI x470 Gaming Plus Max. I changed the voltages to 1,25v for the CPU and Auto for the SOC voltage to get that 4,4ghz ratio. It runs very smooth now. I tested it with Prime95 (it got up to 65-70 C) and with C20 (it scored over 5300 and got 75-80 C). In gaming the CPU stays around 60 C, but when it sits idle the temp is between 40 and 50 C. I am using an Artic Freezer 34 DUO to cool it down.

So here is my question: should I go back to Auto settings with a -0,75v offset and turn off PBO (I think PB2.0 runs better for me)? Or do I keep these settings? Also, what else should I try in the BIOS settings? Thanks so much for your help!

If it really is a prime number, 95 and stays steady on all cores at 4.4GHz, that means nothing special happens or isn't working properly.

If 95 is really prime and the chip stays stable on all cores at 4.4Ghz, there isn't much need to take the 3700X back to "stock." Temps look pretty good already; they aren't climbing into the scary 90C zone. Running with a fixed voltage is risky for newer chips like these 7nm ones, but 1.25V is low enough that it probably won't cause any problems. If things do degrade over time, you'll have to choose: raise the voltage and temps to keep it stable, or drop it back down to stock settings. One real benefit of going back to stock right now (before it degrades) is that it might give single-core speed boosts into a 4.5Ghz+ range with a tweaked PBO overclock. That extra boost is especially good for gaming because games usually use light threading tasks. Single-threaded scores will go up, but don't expect multi-threaded scores to jump higher than usual either. Just remember that all electronics eventually wear out with use, so your CPU will still degrade. But since the PBO overclocking feature needs both voltage and frequency to work, it will degrade at a rate closer to normal stock performance rather than staying boosted like an overclock would suggest.
