Turned off the PC last night as usual. Currently there is no video output detected. I've tested various solutions—swapped monitors, changed display cables, replaced the 3090 with a 1080, reset CMOS, and added a single RAM stick. Now I'm considering a complete Windows reinstall on another drive and swapping it in. Any advice would be helpful.
Can you confirm whether placing the GPU in a lower 16x slot alters performance compared to the main slot?
I didn't note that I attempted it either. Fans spin up and RGB appears as usual, but no video is captured.
11900kf is meant for PCIe 4.0, but attempting to force it to 3.0 might help. If successful, reinstall the drivers or revert to see if it improves. It seems odd if it functions in UEFI. Also, check if the lights behave normally on your 3090 when you try it.
Managed to solve the issue. One of the M.2 drives wasn’t working and it was blocking video output. It seemed to happen no matter which slot I used. Taking it out fixed everything.
