It's actually a great game. The idea of pounding your fist into a demon while the heavy music plays in the background is really cool.

Browsing my Steam store and spotted a Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic game I never played, wondering if it’s still good. Witcher 3 and Red Dead 2 seem appealing too, but sci-fi is really my thing.

You enjoy borderlands titles, so Borderlands 3 offers a similar experience. That’s what matters.

I haven't played any borderlands titles before. However, I borrowed borderlands 2 from my library, so I'll start with that first.

It seems you're considering alternatives for space survival games. Outer Worlds is a space-based survival title developed by Obsidian, the same studio behind Fallout: New Vegas. A darker tone reminiscent of Dark Souls is present in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Have you checked those recently?

The game got heavily damaged after its release last year, though it had a strong start without the sudden ending. I approached it with careful resource management, assuming every planet could be explored, but the final mission turned out to be just for visual expansion—disappointing. However, I see potential for replay value. It seems KOTOR on PC lacks controller support, which is disappointing. I also tried purchasing Metro Exodus before the sale closed, finding it discounted around 60%, but Steam’s purchase feature was down due to frequent 502 errors, likely from last-minute rushes and server strain.

It’s similar to walking over to a spot, taking some shots, and then heading back. There’s a bit of middle school charm to it. It’s fine. A few parts are really funny and original. Some folks enjoy it. I don’t mind it. It’s just okay.

I’m really excited about this option instead of paying $60 for a game or something similar. The Xbox Game Pass offers a collection like The Master Chief Collection, The Metro Series, Middle Earth: Shadow of War and more—so many titles at a fraction of the cost. Plus, there’s a monthly fee of just $5 that lets you access a huge library of games you can play whenever you want.
