I want to take apart my old Intel i7 7700k processor using the Der8auer Delid-Die-Mate kit. But I'm not sure which kind of glue is best for this job. Could you tell me your top picks, like a heat-resistant silicone sealant?

Here is one option: Should we stick or not stick? It feels like it's time to delidle my very first CPU, and I'm wondering how many people in this group don't bother putting the IHS back onto the chip. If you do glue it, what kind of glue are you using? hardforum.com
