Cardboard (fiber), nylon or similar materials prevent issues, but the top defense is avoiding spinning them initially. These washers are readily available at nearby hardware stores—both cardboard/fiber and nylon versions with spacers are commonly stocked.

I think I purchased the largest lottery ticket available after cleaning it with alcohol and a toothbrush—it seems to be working. I added some hot glue to keep it secure. Thanks for the assistance! Also, could you suggest an ultra-budget motherboard with M.2 and ARGB headers suitable for Intel 10th generation?

PCPartPicker is here to help with your last question. It seems nearly every board includes an M.2 NVMe port, and most come with an ARGB header included.
