I tend to believe I understand PCs and related stuff, but I’m still struggling with this issue. I’ve owned this system for more than a year and assembled it myself (see specs below). It functions smoothly and handles games well. The only downside was the motherboard, which I saved money on but still provided all necessary features without any issues. The main problem is that when loading games or during gameplay, my Discord mic becomes very robotic and slow for friends until I stop the game or it finishes loading. It’s happening with "Detroit: Become Human" and "Risk of Rain 2". With "Risk of Rain 2", the lag occurred mainly during shader installation and when starting the game at full graphics settings on 1440p. I noticed CPU usage reached 97% during shader setup while sharing my screen on Discord, which might explain the issue. For "Detroit: Become Human", the mic lagged only when installing shaders and when the GPU was near maximum with high settings. I’m not sure if my PC is too weak or if the motherboard or Discord is the culprit. I suspect the games themselves might not be optimized well for my system, causing strain. My main goal is just to have my mic sound natural during multiplayer sessions. If anyone has advice, it would really help. Thanks in advance.
