Hey there! I recently got a used i7-8086k to swap in for my i5-9400f. When I installed it, the fans and lights started spinning for about 15 seconds, then turned off briefly before coming back on. This cycle keeps repeating. After clearing the BIOS and upgrading the PSU, it still doesn<|pad|> to work properly. I’m not sure if a BIOS update would help, but I’d love some advice.

Other specs: MB-AsRock B360M, IB-R1 PSU, EVGA 1300W gold CPU cooler, Noctua NH-U12A GPU, MSI GTX1660, 32GB RAM, 8GBx4 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro.

Check if the CPU is included in the motherboard's support list. Inquire about the cost of purchasing the 8086K.
