Hello, I'm just starting out with my first PC. I've spent most of my time on a Mac, but I'm new to organizing files and apps on Windows. On Mac, everything seems to settle into system folders, which works well for me. However, I've noticed some apps moving to multiple locations, which isn't ideal. I'm looking for tips to keep things tidy on Windows.

Applications hold files across several directories, which is typical for Windows. For personal documents, it behaves similarly to Finder regarding structure, and you can assign apps to keep their user files in designated areas—like Documents or Pictures/Videos, just as on Mac.
