I went to turn on my PC a few hours ago and noticed a loud electrical pop or bang, along with a strong burning odor. All the RGB lights stopped working and the fans stopped spinning right away. I immediately unplugged it, worried about damage to my components, and then tried to restart it. I initially thought the problem might be with the fan hub, specifically the Commander Core included with my H100i. To investigate further, I followed these steps: I cleaned all connections thoroughly, blew out dust, and even switched cables, but nothing helped. Then I tested each fan individually using the motherboard headers—every fan worked, which supports my suspicion about the fan hub issue. Next, I tried logging in quickly to open a diagnostic tool to check for errors, though I’m concerned the CPU might overheat because the hub is receiving power. I also examined the motherboard for burned traces, but none were found. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Oliver
