I'm using a 32gb 3600 mhz ram, 12600k processor, and 3080 ti. I considered upgrading my system but wasn't sure where to begin since it's been several years since the last upgrade. Mostly gaming is my focus, but I also need something for multitasking. What CPU or motherboard would be best? I'm thinking 64gb ram and a reliable PSU. I plan to improve the graphics too, but I'm still checking benchmarks online. The budget isn't an issue, but I want to avoid overspending unnecessarily.

I am in a country that I have not specified, my budget details are unclear, my monitor resolution remains unspecified, and I do not currently list components like PSU, storage, or case.

Upgrading with a Samsung 2tb ssd 980 pro, Evga Supernova G3 850 watt on a phanteks Eclipse P500A, paired with a 1440p 144hz monitor is planned. A mid-size case will also be added. The budget is about 2000 for CPU, motherboard, case, PSU, RAM, liquid cooling, and SSD. I have separate funds for hardware but haven’t decided between a 4090 or 4080 super. I’m located in the US.

I think it’s safe to upgrade the GPU and PSU right now and hold off on the rest. The 12600k is still quite capable. Keep using air cooling, please.
You might also consider investing in a mini LED display instead?
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zk...0-...-xg341c-2k
For around 2000 USD, you can get a 4090 and a 1000W PSU.

The additional case fan is either to replace an existing fan or to add one, and you're happy with the parts list. For choosing a new SSD, let me know your preference.
