Help with PC building.
Hi, I’m new to PC building. I’m want to get a gaming PC because I’ve heard they are better than console. I want a PC that can run games at 1440p and 144 Hz. I don’t want to buy a pre-built one because I’ve heard that they don’t have the best components. I’m also going to be doing a bit of school work on this. So if anyone can help me in this, it’ll be appreciated.

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, using different words and phrasing to convey the same information:
The following describes a computer build designed for performance. It starts with an Intel Core i7-8700K processor, known for its speed and capabilities. To keep it cool, a Cooler Master liquid CPU cooler is selected. The system utilizes a Gigabyte Z390 GAMING X motherboard to connect all the components. Memory consists of 16GB of G.Skill Aegis DDR4 RAM, providing ample storage capacity. A Kingston A1000 480GB M.2 SSD offers fast data access. For graphics, an MSI GeForce RTX 2080 card is included. The case is a Cooler Master MasterBox MB511 RGB, and the power supply is a Corsair TXM Gold 650W unit.
The total cost of this configuration, including shipping and taxes, comes to approximately $1503.70 before rebates. A rebate of $65.00 is available, bringing the final price down to $1438.70. This build was created using PCPartPicker, a tool for planning computer parts purchases.
