Hey there, I was trying to update my BIOS in a Lenovo system using an older version, but the power suddenly cut out. I thought someone might be able to assist since I have a BIOS programmer, NEO, and AS programmers available. My goal is to reprogram the memory on my dual BIOS chips—specifically Winbond 25064FV S10|1427 models. When I attempt the flash, connecting the board powers up doesn’t establish a connection to the chips, but it works when the power is off. Through the software, I see two files: one for the left chip (8000kb) and another for the right chip (4000kb). I’ve also tried inserting an NVME module via UEFItool and added it after the USB VFS module, but I’m unsure if I’m extracting the correct ROM or if I need the full file. I’ve attached some files for reference:
- C:\SWTOOLS\FLASH\FBJYE0USA\FBCT32A.bin (128kb)
- C:\SWTOOLS\FLASH\FBJYE0USA\IMAGEFB.ROM (6656kb)

Additionally, I found an older BIOS version in CAP format and a newer ROM/BIN file. The service tag for my board is Lenvovo "is8xm" Rev01, and there’s a maintenance manual for pinout details. Let me know if you need more clarity or help with the process. Thanks!

The relevant bios files you should focus on are the ones containing system information and performance details.
