Hi,
I own a XFX Speedster QUICK 319 RX 7800 XT (reference board / PCB) that fails to start. Upon powering on, it remains stuck on the post-diagnosing LED for the GPU. I've attempted to use a different graphics card (Vega 56) in the first PCI-E slot and the 7800 XT in the second, with the hope of booting up and then flashing a new BIOS. The system passes the GPU LED test, emits a beep, but then freezes on the boot sequence. No video output is detected from either card, which is unusual since it appears to work when the beep occurs. The card is receiving power from the PSU, and I've tried switching the BIOS settings between the two slots. The GPU fans spin during startup, and if power is cut, red LEDs appear at the connectors signaling no power, though no other indicators show activity.

Any suggestions on possible solutions? I'm open to disassembling and replacing parts if necessary.

System Specs:
Ryzen 5800x
ASUS B550-F Gaming
2x16GB HyperX Fury RAM
Corsair HX1000i PSU.

You might try a donor system with a CH341A BIOS toolkit and attempt to flash the VBIOS on the 7800 XT, though results can vary. If the problem lies with VRAM, the toolkit won't help. On the other hand, if the card is low on memory, neither the CH341A nor a VRAM replacement will resolve the issue.

It seems straightforward to assess VRAM issues first before proceeding with a reflash. Determining whether VRAM is the issue might prove challenging, and locating a suitable short could also be tough.

Yes, it should include a 3-year warranty in the EU. But sadly I can't locate the receipt, so I'm unsure if I can file a warranty claim.

Have you bought items from a physical shop or from an online platform?

In the store, I've spoken with them, but it seems they can't assist with the med. However, I've successfully uploaded to the GPU in my system—it only functions if CSM is enabled in the BIOS. In Windows, it's recognized as 7800 XT in the device manager but gets disabled right away (code 43). Everything appears normal in GPU-Z too, except that all supported technologies except OpenGL are unchecked and the core shows as 0 MHz. Could this indicate a corrupted GPU VBIOS or another issue?
