OK, So, I posted in here once about this BUT i'm going INTEL! Instead of AMD. Trying to weight my options here. Tell me what you think? Please help.
I have questions
1. Will this Motherboard let me OC?
2. Should i really have to OC it? if it's already going 4Ghz & 4.4Ghz Turbo? Shouldn't i be good? for at least two years?
3. Does all my other components look good for gaming?
This will be my first build, i want to play games like Skyrim, Minecraft, Star Wars Battlefront, H1Z1, Day Z etc
My current Ideology: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Crimson1077/saved/

If you don't plan to use the stock cooler, it's completely okay.

This motherboard doesn't support overclocking, only Z97 models do. With a 4790k you won't achieve much gaming performance; it will definitely be sufficient for two years. Consider switching to an i5 4690 and a GTX 970.

Better option is to avoid overclocking and opt for a superior video card, which will handle most gaming tasks on its own.

PCPartPicker part list
/ Cost analysis by seller
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
($199.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: ASRock B150 PRO4/D3 ATX LGA1151
($78.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: Mushkin Essentials 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
($58.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE 3X
($319.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower
($55.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: XFX XT 500W 80+ Bronze Certified
($58.98 @ Newegg)
Overall: $772.83
Includes shipping, taxes, and any available discounts

Also, consider a reliable storage solution. Since you omitted one, I left it out. Avoid using an outdated drive as your primary storage; instead, allocate it for bulk data and use an SSD for the operating system, applications, and a few games. If budget is limited, reduce the GPU cost slightly.

Crimson1077 :
jollypirate :
this motherboard won't support overclocking, only z97 models do. with a 4790k you won't achieve much gaming performance, it'll be fine for about two years. you should switch to an i5 4690 and install a gtx 970.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YYTZkL
if you opt for an i5 4690, would you like me to suggest overclocking right away? Or is it better to stick with it without any changes for two years with the gtx 970?

Jollypirate is suggesting alternatives for the motherboard and CPU setup. They recommend a different CPU model and GPU, and question whether an OC is necessary or if the components will still perform well over time.

If you don't intend to use any equipment in the future, you can also obtain a non-K chip and a different motherboard besides a Z97 to save some money.
