Hi! Your G31 board has the dual-core i7-8260E (2nd gen) with a base speed of 1.86GHz, but in Windows 10 it caps at around 0.93GHz. Let me know if you need tips to improve performance.

Is your device operating in low-power setting? Would it help to change to high-performance mode and observe any adjustments in the processor speed?

I've confirmed it's operating in the top-tier performance setting with full CPU utilization.

Check for a CPU-Z image displaying 0.93 GHz. If BIOS or Windows 10 isn't configuring the CPU properly, consider ThrottleStop to run it at its maximum speed.

Checking the CPU speed via the task manager can be misleading or overly confident. It often doesn't reflect the true performance. Tools like CPU-Z provide better accuracy.
