Hi everyone!
I was just thinking about ways I could boost my frame rate in some games, since I think my CPU might be limiting me.
My computer setup:
msi 970 motherboard
amd fx-6300
gtx 750ti
4gb low profile RAM
500w 80+ bronze PSU
stock heatsink
I haven’t made any changes to the system, only used MSI Afterburner and other software/bios. I’m pretty new to tech stuff. Could there be something I can try on my end, like overclocking or similar? Just to say I’ve never adjusted anything so maybe it’s due to power-saving settings?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I question whether your CPU is causing the GPU to slow down. There might be some thermal throttling happening, though. I wouldn't recommend using the standard CPU cooler since I've used them before and seen many systems reach very high temperatures with these. Instead, consider buying a good air-cooler and possibly overclocking the CPU slightly, as both the CPU and motherboard handle significant overclocking well.
