Enjoys gaming at 1080p resolution, playing titles including Smite, Fortnight, PUGBG, Overwatch, Dota 2, Rocket League, League of Legends, Battlefield V, GTA V, Command & Conquer remastered, Halo Remastered Master Collection, and several Chinese/Korean MMORPGs. Viewing is set at 1080p (high quality), lasting between 100 to 120 hours with a frame time of 1msec, on a 27-inch curved screen (still too young for streaming).

Approximately $450 USD was spent. The purchase was a gigabyte RTX 2060 Super with 8GB RAM. Deciding between Intel and AMD, I lean toward AMD for its lower cost.

The cost is around $450 for the CPU or the rest of the parts. A 3600 should work, but a 3300X might be sufficient; it could be a bit short in BF5.

For the CPU by itself, a 3600/10600k should work well on a good B550 or Z490 board.

Yes, the cost is $450 for the CPU. We saved the funds for that purpose.

Consider upgrading to a better GPU for your setup. A $450 CPU price in a gaming configuration with an 2060 Super seems unreasonable.
