Hi, I've been working on optimizing my RAM for a while now and reached out for advice. Here are my details:
CPU: AMD R7 3800x 8c/16t @ 4.1Ghz
RAM: DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 2x16 GB 3600mhz
Manufacturer: Micron Technology ; Part number CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18
- Motherboard: MSI X570 Gaming Edge Wifi (bios update : 29/10/2020)
I'm having trouble boosting my RAM speed past 2733Mhz or 2666Mhz, whether with or without X-AMP. The CPU supports up to 3200Mhz on JEDEC and even more on X-AMP, and the motherboard handles over 5000Mhz. I've tried the "Memory Try it!" tool and various presets, but nothing worked. I'm only comfortable troubleshooting on my PC, and I hope someone can help me find a solution. Even Google isn't giving clear guidance.

I achieved 2800mhz by adjusting the voltage to 1.35v. Would increasing the voltage help reach at least 3200mhz needed for optimal performance with a Ryzen?

This situation is quite common, as many people seek ways to enhance their system performance.
