I tried to restore the lost data by reinstalling Windows on another disk, but the original partition was erased. Now I’m unsure if there’s a way to retrieve the important documents without creating new files.

Create an image of the drive first. Various tools such as photorec rstudio and similar ones can retrieve data from that image previously.

Thank you for your message. It seems the new Windows drive is missing data from your documents because you mispartitioned it. The Windows backup tool shows only 50MB of the drive, which is unusual.
