You can transfer the same Windows installation from your old PC to the new one. Make sure you have the original setup files and a clean installation disk ready. Follow the steps to boot from the USB, then install Windows again on the new system.

I realized the issue now. The problem started when your old PC used an AMD CPU and switched to Intel, causing driver installations and crashes. You want to prevent future driver installs.

From the control panel, open the Open System and click Advanced system settings. Then click the hardware tab in the new window. Next, go to Device Installation Settings below the Device Manager button. Choose No (your device might not function properly). Save your changes by clicking save changes, then OK to close all windows. Restart the PC.

Check if your current setup uses the original software or manufacturer parts. If so, your previous key wouldn’t apply to the updated system. I’d recommend starting with a complete Windows reinstall from the official Microsoft website.

Install fresh and verify your key functions. If necessary, purchase a new one—old OEM keys might not work. Note: No CPU drivers required; the chipset manages them.
