Hello, I'm evaluating b550/x570 M. modules for a Ryzen 5000 series upgrade. Most boards use an 8+4 pin CPU connector while your PSU supports only 8 pins. Consider checking for a compatible motherboard with a 5000 series socket and ensure the PSU can handle the power requirements.

Use just the 8-pin connector. The fourth pin is unnecessary for regular operation or boosting performance.

It should work, but check the reviews first. The 8-pin module can manage 300W independently, which should be sufficient for a 5950x with an OC.
