Help Please! 9800x3D and 9070XT FRESH BUILD, BAD FPS, STUTTERING
Reviewed the SSD for available updates. Verified Windows 11 is installed. Tested disabling Multiplane Overlay MPO. Installed chipset drivers from AMD and applied the newest GPU drivers (25.3.1).
Hey, I built something pretty similar and my CS2 and Valorant are really rough. They run at 700 fps but it looks like they’re not smooth, even though the display is 60Hz. I’ve tweaked the BIOS, installed Windows 11 Pro, and updated all drivers. I didn’t overclock anything. When I play Final Fantasy XV and GTA V with max settings, they run smoothly without stuttering, unlike CS2 or Valorant. I think I messed up a lot of effort with a 5k audio budget. Hope someone better understand what went wrong.
That's actually an interesting point... Wrong hz/refreshrate can cause this.... Like actually the computer doesn't lag, the screen does. So why aren't you setting the refreshrate to 144? (Windows settings display)?
