I'm trying to reach 5ghz using the same motherboard as that person. I followed their steps exactly. When I tested Prime95, it overheated at 5ghz but none of the cores activated during the test—temperatures jumped between 4 and 2, then stayed idle. I stopped the test and my PC crashed soon after. I lowered the clock to 4.7 with 4.1 casing. Prime is now running all cores without overheating, and the stress test shows a 4.7 reading. Could it be Prime95 affecting the results?
