hey, i'm looking for guidance on overclocking my i7 4790k. i have a hyperx fury and can't change my profile to xmp, so i think i need to adjust it manually. if anyone can assist, please let me know the steps. i'm not planning a major overclock but just want to give it a try. thanks!

Are you planning to upgrade the CPU or RAM? Z97 motherboards support XMP, so if your RAM is compatible and rated at 1866, it should work. Check the BIOS for XMP options and adjust to profiles 1 or 2.
