Help needed with Corsair RM850

I have a corsair RM850 CP-9020232-EU white edition. I aim to upgrade my GPU from 3070 to 4080. However, my PSU only has two PCIe designated ports (8 pins). Can I use the 600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR Type-4 power cable to connect my PSU and GPU?

There are 5 ports available, with 2 designated for the CPU and 3 for PCI-e. The question asks how many of those are currently in use for the CPU.

Avoid using the cable included with the GPU. This option is cumbersome, introducing additional cables and connectors.
