Mobo: maximus viii hero
I recently put in a new CPU cooler and everything worked fine. After plugging everything in, the PC booted up properly. However, when I rearranged some cables at the back and moved the PC around, it would shut down. After taking it out again, I unplugged some cables and changed the RAM, but the issue persisted. Interestingly, the red lights on the motherboard are lit, indicating power is being supplied. Yet, the power flow seems weak, as the bottom start and reset button flickers. I managed to get it to boot a few times when adjusting things, but once I turned it off, it returned to the same problem. The orange light would light up occasionally when it boots. Noticing that if the ROG RGB logo on the motherboard is visible, the PC can boot. It seems like the system is partially active. I replaced the PSU and everything appears to be connected correctly. I think the problem lies with the motherboard or the power connector. If you suspect a different issue, please share some repair ideas.
