i put msi afterburner on my 2070 super and after a couple of hours, my temperature reached 60 celsius and now it will not let me change the limit to 80 or 90 degrees. i can play games but they all crash and i am really worried
Are there any other programs on your computer that watch or change the GPU settings, like what makes the card work faster? Sometimes those programs cause problems. I had an issue where my Gigabyte software stopped working right after MSIAfterburner for just a while before it went back to normal.
Do you have a specific GPU making or buying plan? What about how old your power supply unit (PSU) actually is, plus which brand and model it has been?
Do you have any extra programs on your computer to watch and speed up the GPU, like one from the company that makes it? It might fight with something else. Back in the day I used Gigabyte software and it would break MSIAfterburner after a few hours.
