Hello, Your Wi-Fi seems to be weak because your room is far from the router. A powerline adapter might not be enough—consider checking for interference, using a better antenna, or exploring wireless options like a mesh network. If that doesn’t work, climbing the roof and running cables could be necessary.

This would provide the most stable and dependable link. Would you have coaxial cables at both sites? MoCA adds a bit more cost but could reduce the need for new wiring. If your internet speed is already weak, reinforcing or re-broadcasting a weak signal won’t make much difference. Mesh networks are possible, but they require several devices and strong signal coverage to all points. You’ll only see results once you test it in your own home because building layouts vary and present different challenges for WiFi.

yeah. Ethernet to the basement at my parents place when I lived there was really the only option, and the very consistent gaming experience was worthwhile. Also, please change your topic title.
