Help! ~ Foxconn MOBO Identification ~ Foxconn 115XSBP 46R1
Hey everyone. As mentioned in the title, I own a Foxconn 115XSBP 46R1 motherboard. I haven’t found any details about it online regarding the socket or chipset. From what I noticed on the board’s label, it seems to be an Intel 115x model—guessed from the name on the bottom of the heat sync mount. However, when I searched or checked Foxconn’s site, I couldn’t locate any info about this specific board. If anyone has any insights or photos, it would be really helpful.
Seems like a standard LGA 115-series board. Probably not a great investment.
It likely indicates the presence of a PWM control sticker near the DIMM slot, suggesting it's used for power management rather than general motherboard identification.
I discovered a few listings on eBay for these boards. When I contacted both sellers about supported chipset options, they consistently mentioned "115x" as if that was the final answer. After asking more questions, neither responded. I learned the board originally came with an i3-2120 processor, which confirms it’s a socket 1155 model. However, this alone doesn’t clarify compatibility since that CPU supports multiple chipsets. I checked Foxconn’s website for 1155 boards, but none match the dual PCIe slots shown here. I’m sharing my observations in the post and hope someone else can help.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm definitely going to. Since it's not a basic board, I understand your point. It doesn't have many PCI-E (small) slots, but the dual GPU slots make it more than entry-level. I'll look at the stickers as soon as possible and get back to you. This board is really puzzling... haha.
Also, check the ATX power connectors for any labels like the one shown here: https://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/upload/fil...cation.jpg
I examined the ATX power connectors... there were no labels. I searched the whole board for any recognizable model or serial number but found nothing. It's a 1155 motherboard with DDR3, Sata 2 and Sata 3 ports, running an i3-2120. Beyond that, I haven't located any details at all. My email to Foxconn's support hasn't gotten a response, and their phone line is currently unresponsive—“I didn’t hear your call.” It’s really annoying.
