Are there any players here who experience similar challenges? I've been using full-body trimmers recently, which mostly affect my hands and feet while taking meds. This has made it hard to play keyboard and mouse games without my vision shaking excessively. Are there other PC gamers on the forum dealing with comparable problems? Do you prefer playing with a gamepad, or is lowering your mouse sensitivity more effective? Are there other solutions I haven't considered?

others might find RPGs with fixed camera angles suitable, like those using static shots or certain color palettes such as ff7/ff8.

Thanks! Mostly I play online shooters, but I’m planning to explore all my RPGs to see if I can make the camera static.

It's frustrating when high frame rates demand too much detail for someone with your needs. Hope you find a suitable game soon! As @Valkyrie Lenneth mentioned, games with minimal camera movement would be ideal. I remember playing FTL on an old school computer—it was simple, just mouse clicks and movement, no complex camera work. A good suggestion that might suit you.

have you considered using a controller paired with a massive dead zone? That could work well if you're aiming for FPS games with lots of camera shifts. You might also explore a mouse deadzone tool or similar software to force a dead zone effect. It would likely result in poor precision but let you play at least.

There were some games with special features I enjoyed. I liked RPG titles similar to Final Fantasy. Many budget RPG makers have games on Steam that aren’t well received. Visual novels could also be a good option. Regarding the Steam controller, it seems to offer better mouse precision compared to joysticks or mice. A laptop-style trackpad might work well for tasks like Civilization, and possibly even plug-in trackpads for desktop use. If you’re looking for something more stable, truck simulators with steering wheels could be a solid choice, especially if they reduce hand tremors.
