Hi, I’m seeing something unusual and haven’t changed any hardware or drivers. Everything seems current. However, over the past week my computer has restarted randomly, sometimes blacking out completely before opening the login screen. The lights stay on, but it doesn’t shut down properly. Anyone have experienced this? How can I fix it? Right now I’ve mostly been watching Netflix.

It seems your power source is struggling.

You're right, everything looks brand new! It's a fresh setup with all the latest components for your ASRock B550 M Pro 4 and R5.

Hello! Start by verifying that all power cables are securely connected and reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for a few minutes before putting it back. Next, try booting the computer using only one RAM stick in the closest memory slot to the CPU. If issues continue, confirm the memory kit is listed in the Memory QVL (Vermeer) and consider replacing it with another set. You might also update drivers or reinstall the OS if needed. Let me know which steps helped or if you need more details. Cheers! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*
