Sure to discuss piracy, but I think you need to purchase or obtain a copy of Yosemite. I don’t think you can just downgrade it for free, similar to Windows.

You can't simply rely on El Capitan because it doesn't meet all your needs or conditions.

It seems likely that certain applications function only on Yosemite, even though I suspect an upcoming update will expand compatibility to El Capitan.
