You would need a managed device to handle internet routing through your modem. Since you're currently using Wi-Fi and then splitting to Ethernet splitters, consider a managed switch or router that supports multiple ports for streaming. This will allow you to manage traffic efficiently across up to three instances of streaming at once.

You shouldn't disconnect the connection from your modem; it won't function properly. The router handles essential tasks, so splitting after the router is necessary. A switch would be ideal—any Gigabit unmanaged model should suffice.

Unless you bought several IP addresses from your provider, it won't function.
