New computer? Was it functional before? What are the specifications? Did the monitor connect to the correct port (not the mainboard, especially with a dedicated GPU)? Did you install one memory stick in one memory slot? Have you verified the correct memory slot? Have you attempted a CMOS reset? Did you wait a few minutes (around 2-3 minutes) to observe any changes? Does it power off by itself?
The RAM appears functional. To refresh the CMOS, remove the battery for a few minutes or use the manufacturer’s reset procedure. If the BIOS still fails to appear, check connections, try a different power source, or consult the motherboard manual for specific steps.
To reset the CMOS on your board, follow these steps carefully. Be aware that this will erase the BIOS settings, which means your memory and CPU overclock configurations will be lost, and possibly your boot sequence will change too. Since the DRAM indicator is lit, it seems like a RAM overclock issue might be present. If this resolves the problem: perform a memtest on your computer. If it doesn’t fix it: test one memory stick at a time in slot A2 (the second slot from the CPU side).
Also regarding the memory issue—since it seems like the memory or slot might be failing, could you share another PC or motherboard? A friend with a DDR4 board would be helpful for testing.
