Hello there! How can I assist you today?
I'm still very hesitent. It looks very good (graphics and promise of whats to come) but its way to early for me to invest. I'm worried this game is stretching way to large to fast (fps module (which was a stretch goal) before we can play the open world part(base game)) and is going to run out of money 70% of the way through and need more investment to get the base game done.
More participants boost my joy and make me feel at home in the group! In my opinion, what they already offer justifies the investment—it's quite enjoyable. I believe they don't need to stress about finances since when demand drops they can run a special sale and earn an extra million or more daily! Keep in mind that what we see is only part of their overall offerings; they're working on multiple projects at once, and the work they're doing now lays the groundwork for future growth, so content can be released faster. I think they’re slowly releasing information to maintain interest while reserving key updates for later. Looking at long-term goals should focus more on small teasers rather than just extra content, which explains why they’re sharing only details for the near term—it's essentially the same idea, just called something else, like what CatCloud suggests when setting priorities.
It wouldn't be wise to invest right now unless you're willing to wait. The price is still better than the full £60, and the time it takes to decide means its value is lower. FPS is arriving soon, and I bought an arena dogfighting game for just £27—ATM, it's a good deal. I spent about a week in the game, and it cost me less than other triple A titles I've paid double that amount for.
I’d just like to mention that the present funding plan is a crowd-sourced effort that quickly spiraled beyond control. The original Kickstarter target was to collect 2.5 million for private investors to secure additional support. After that, the situation changed dramatically and we’ve surpassed 70 million in total funds! I’m not sure what’s happening behind the scenes regarding the investor arrangements, but I’m certain they won’t run out of money anytime soon, and progress must pause.
