Hello! I’m from Russia.
Sorry, my English isn’t great.
I’m trying to find information about the adapter SATA 13 pin to USB for connecting a CD drive on a laptop to USB.
Chinese tools didn’t work well, so I prefer more reliable ones. That’s why I’m searching for American manufacturers of this adapter.
It wasn’t easy. I only found one company. It’s MicroSataCables.
I bought the adapter from them on Ebay, but the package got lost. (Tracking says it was in London.) Of course, I received my money back.
I tried ordering it again, but because of the failed purchase, MicroSataCables didn’t sell it. I also tried Amazon, but nothing worked.
I asked my friends to order it for me, but MicroSataCables said they wouldn’t send products to Russia.
Sometimes I buy things on Ebay and Amazon, but this was the first time it happened to me.
I think MicroSataCables isn’t the only American maker of this adapter. I’m wondering if there are other American manufacturers for it.
Thank you very much!

I'm pretty sure they're all made in China, aren't they?

Thank you for your reply! I understand. For instance, I haven’t located a HP laptop made in the USA in Russia. Nonetheless, I would still choose a HP laptop produced in China over some generic Chinese models.
