While playing csgo usually runs smoothly at 200-150 fps with minimal frame drops, today it’s lagging at around 100 fps and dropping to just 30 fps. I’m trying to fix this issue. I have a laptop with a GTX 1050 and a 75hz monitor that worked fine when I first set it up. Updated August 3, 2022 by Thepokedex

Your single-channel RAM seems to be affecting performance, particularly with SODIMM in a laptop setup. It might help checking the power monitoring settings. I’ve noticed my laptop’s speed drops significantly when using the battery, so inspect the charger connectors.

I've adjusted the power setting to optimal performance, but no improvements occurred.

I resolved the issue, my laptop was experiencing thermal throttling.
