I recently purchased an Asus TUF H3 headset and connected it to my PC. I attempted to enable virtual 7.1 surround using Windows Sonic, which Asus claims supports. However, when using the microphone as the default input device for recordings, no sound comes through. Switching to Capture Input Terminal resolves the issue, but the audio quality remains poor, with sounds centered in my head and bad mic performance. On my phone, everything works perfectly—mic quality is good and audio is clear. Can someone assist me in fixing this problem?
have you attempted to reinstall the driver from the asus website (if available)?
