I recently began connecting my Hackintosh to my MacBook via iCloud, but it keeps prompting for a password even when I cancel reminders. I’ve tried resetting the account, signing out and back in, and even created a new user, but the issue persists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Consider reinstalling your key chain. That issue might have been why iCloud felt bothersome on others' Macs. Try different solutions before you commit, since this is just a guess.

That’s unusual behavior. It might be connected to the Hackintosh setup. Sign out and back in.
