In the past few months, Windows 10 began showing the HDR notice icon on my TV monitor when it came back to life after a screen-off timeout. This was new for me and slightly bothersome since it affects how quickly the screen wakes up. HDR is typically disabled by default, but something changed recently—possibly after a feature update. Running dxdiag revealed it wasn’t enabled, and my desktop remains black instead of gray, indicating no HDR support. Anyone else have noticed this change?
