I recently took my HDD offline because it generated a lot of noise. Now I want to play CS:GO, which is stored on my HDD due to limited space on my SSD. Steam doesn’t seem to know the game is already downloaded. It’s installed in a specific folder under HDD\Steamlibrary\steamapps\common\CS:GO. How can I ensure Steam recognizes this location so it doesn’t need to re-download the entire game? Thanks. Edit: It worked by restarting Steam, which then started downloading a 1.5 GB patch.
