Hello, my name is Silas. I'm facing a bit of trouble with my NAS setup. Back in the day, I bought a used server motherboard from eBay when I was still a student. Now I'm upgrading storage by adding several hard drives, so I ordered four 3TB IBM SAS drives from eBay (they spun after modifying the SATA cable) and later added an HBA LSI1078 SAS controller to use them. However, when I installed the card on my motherboard, I tried many slots but none appeared in ServerView (iRMC), and neither TrueNAS nor Windows showed any drives. I thought maybe someone could assist me. My hardware includes a Fujitsu D3239 S2 board, an HBA LSI1078 SAS controller, an Xeon E3-1275v3 32GB DDR3 ECC RAM, a 500W 80+Gold PSU, and a 4x3TB IBM 39U3721. I have an attachment explaining the server view setup. Thanks for reading all of this.

First off, that's an ancient HBA. LSI 2000-series or 3000-series are usually just as cheap and a lot newer. If it's not appearing anywhere (check using lspci in TrueNAS), it's probably dead.

That's unfortunate but fine, I'll look for the latest options and see if it's acceptable. Thanks.
