I recently assembled a new computer. After installing Windows 10, I encountered an issue where booting doesn’t go straight to Windows—it leads me through the BIOS setup instead. The components I used include an Intel 17-4790k processor at 4GHz, a Corsair H100i GTX water cooler, an ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 USB 3.1 drive, Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 RAM (two 8GB sticks), a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD, a Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB HDD, MSI Radeon R9 390 gaming graphics card with 8GB RAM, and an EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W power supply.

1. try turning off fast boot, saving your settings, then rebooting into BIOS might display a list of boot devices.
2. disable secure boot if it appears anywhere; check the BIOS again for a boot device list upon reboot.
3. some users find a boot override listed on the exit screen, though they’re unsure what to do with it but it seems important.

In UEFI, verify that "Windows Boot Manager" has the top priority in the boot sequence.

I just encountered that problem and it wasn't recognizing my hard drives. I had to reinstall them all over again and format everything. It seems like the setup might have been disrupted.
